Carlson Snap Caps are the Best of Both Worlds Carlson’s snap caps are both aluminum bodied AND have the spring-loaded primer (center fire caps only). Others have one or the other. A-zooms are aluminum but have a silicone primer pocket that wears out quickly. Plastic-bodied caps have a spring-liaded primer but they break easily at the rim. Scott Carlson makes quality products at reasonable prices. I wouldn’t buy any other snap cap.
