Ruger SR1911 KOENIG ULTIMATE CHAMP 9MM
The Ruger Custom Shop collaborated closely with professional shooting team captain and world champion competitive shooter Doug Koenig to create the first Custom Shop SR1911 9mm. This full-sized 9mm pistol is ideal for competitive shooting in IDPA, IPSC, USPSA, Bianchi Cup, Pro Am Shooting, and Steel Challenge disciplines.
This SR1911 9mm leaves nothing to chance, thanks to the precision-machined Koenig Shooting Sports low-mass hammer and competition sear. When combined with the custom flat-faced trigger shoe, precision-machined disconnector, and hand-tuned sear spring, you can expect a match-grade, crisp, and clean break with every trigger pull. The hand-fitted slide and frame provide a remarkably tight, yet smooth, action. The Ruger Custom Shop’s unwavering attention to detail ensures a world-class level of performance suitable for the most demanding competitors and shooters.

- The hand-fitted slide and frame provide an incredibly tight, yet smooth, action.
- Match trigger with a low-mass hammer and competition sear from Koenig Shooting Sports, a flat-faced trigger shoe, a precision-machined Cylinder & Slide disconnector, and a hand-tuned sear spring.
- Black nitrided stainless steel frame with a checkered front strap with 25 lines per inch, matching checkered mainspring housing, and Hogue® Piranha G10 grip panels for a better grip.
- Competition barrel with a polished feed ramp, fitted barrel lug, target crown, and a unique 1:16″ slow twist to improve accuracy with lighter weight match bullets.
- For match speed and accuracy, a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable serrated rear target sight are used.
- Undercut trigger guard and beavertail grip safety provide a comfortable high hold that reduces muzzle flip.
- TechWell magwell made of machined aluminum for lightning fast reloads.
- Ambidextrous safety, extended magazine release, forged slide stop, and integral plunger tube are all standard features.
